What is SSC MTS Exam?

SSC MTS is the short term of “SSC Multitasking Staff”. SSC conducts the SSC Multitasking exam in two main stages; Common Test and descriptive paper. After clearing these stages, the candidate will get selected for General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices, in different States/Union Territories.
Last time, 70 lakhs (approx) candidates registered for SSC MTS 2020 recruitment. However, only 19,96,411 lakhs candidates appeared in SSC MTS exam, in which total 10,674 candidates were shortlisted after the final result.

Educational Qualification

SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam Pattern
This year SSC MTS 2020 exam (Non-Technical) will be conducted in an online mode, unlike past years. The exam pattern has been changed to 100 questions which were earlier to be conducted for 200 questions. Also, the time limit has been reduced to 120 minutes.
